Project participants

The contracting authorities of this project, which is funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) in the frame of the “Mobility of the Future” programme are: the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology and the Swiss Confederation, represented by the Federal Roads Office.

An interdisciplinary consortium of four partners, led by PRISMA solutions (Mödling, Austria) together with Albrecht Consult (Aachen, Germany), IAV – Ingenieurgesellschaft Auto und Verkehr (Gifhorn, Germany) and Sigmund Freud University (Vienna, Austria) is involved in this project. The expertise covers the required spectrum from digitization in the transport sector to European standardization and the engineering sector, as well as the entire legal area.

The project is accompanied by relevant stakeholders from public administration, interest groups and industry. Bridging the gap between technology and law, “lex2vehicle” lays the foundation for the digitization of traffic law – starting with the D-A-CH region, with the clear goal of setting an example for the whole of Europe.
